The following databases and resources are available to help KSI students with their research and learning. If you need additional research support, please contact the KSI librarian. |

EbscoHost | EbscoHost provides access to abstracts and full-text journal articles on research topics from computers to medicine. Among the databases available in EbscoHost are:
- Academic Search Premier provides full text articles for more than 4,650 journals (more than 3,900 peer-reviewed titles) as well as indexing and abstracts for over 8,450 journals. Among the topics covered are computer sciences, engineering, physics, chemistry, language and linguistics, arts & literature, and medical sciences.
- Business Source Elite provides full text articles for over 1,000 business and economics publications.
- ERIC (Education Resource Information Center) provides education literature and resources, including journals in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index.”
- Newspaper Source provides articles (many full-text) for 35 national and international newspapers and 375 U.S. regional newspapers as well as full-text transcripts for television & radio news.

Information Literacy |
Information literacy is the ability to determine the information needed, understand how information is organized and determine the value of the information sources. It s a critical skill students need to conduct research. Here are two on-line tutorials to help students develop this skill:

Professional Organizations |
Computer-related professional organizations are a critical source of information and training. Listed on the Professional Organizations web page are key organizations for the computer industry. These organizations also publish a number of journals, many of which are relevant to KSI students. Please check the Periodicals page for more information on these journals in the library. |
