Programming     Company Information   Liventus is a recent company that has been started within Edwin C. Sigel Ltd. with the goal of creating websites for top quality customers. We are located in Northbrook, IL just 25 miles outside of Chicago.   Job Description   The internship will vary depending on what projects are going on, but it can be expected to edit, test, and write some active server pages as well as working with the .net framework. Database work will most likely include populating, editing, and updating SQL2000. In addition, this intern can expect to work on link campaigns and link popularity for various clients. Due to the size of the company there is no set training procedure. Interns will work with the project managers to complete tasks and training will be on the job. Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash, and Dreamweaver are all beneficial. In addition knowledge or experience in some or all of the following is helpful: ASP.net, ASP, SQL, C#, Java, Javascript, VBscript, HTML, XML, Cold Fusion, C++, and Visual Basic. Interns are evaluated on an informal basis. Quality of work, attitude, ability to learn quickly and follow up as needed are all characteristics sought in interns as well as permanent employees.
