KSI Scholarships

KSI’s Administrative Office would like to announce the availability of two new scholarships for students:

KSI Academic Merit Scholarship

The KSI Academic Merit Scholarship was created to reward incoming KSI students who have exceptionally strong academic backgrounds in Computer and Information Sciences. The KSI Academic Merit Scholarship is exclusive to incoming KSI students and is awarded only in the Fall term. Recipients will receive the scholarship for 4 consecutive semesters, without being required to reapply or apply for renewal, as long as they continue to meet eligibility requirements.

Amount: $600

Application Deadline: Applications are due one month before the Fall semester start date.

Application Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must have graduated with a B.S. in Computer and Information Sciences or related field from a U.S. College or University with a GPA of 3.6 or higher
  • Must intend to be an onsite student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per academic term (Fall/Spring semesters)
  • Must be a new, incoming student in the Fall term
  • Must be working towards the MS in CIS degree
  • Must not have been awarded the KSI IT Career Development Scholarship

KSI IT Career Development Scholarship

KSI is also now offering a scholarship to students working towards developing a career in IT. Students must currently be working in an IT related field. The scholarship is awarded in the amount of $600 in the Fall with possible renewal for the Spring term. More information and applications are available at KSI’s Administrative office.

Application Deadline: Applications are due one month before the Fall semester start date.

Application Eligibility Criteria:

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Must be currently employed in an IT related field
  • Must be an onsite student, enrolled in at least 6 credit hours per academic term (Fall/Spring semesters)
  • Must have studied at KSI for at least one full semester before applying
  • Must have an attendance rate of 85% or higher (no more than 2 absences) for the Spring semester immediately preceding the Fall semester of application
  • Must be working towards the MS in CIS degree
  • Must not have been awarded the KSI Academic Merit Scholarship
