We, the organizers of this special session, are contacting individually a selected set of researchers who are established researchers in the area of ?security & privacy for multimedia systems, multimedia presentations, and multimedia communication?, and cordially inviting you to submit a paper to the special session. Our goal is to have a special session in which lively and intensive discussion on the ongoing research activities in your areas of expertise can take place. We are planning to bring out a post-conference volume on the extended and revised versions of papers presented in the session. Research papers, both theoretical and applied, and tools development for enforcing privacy and security for multimedia applications are welcome. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
