SEKE 2010 - San Francisco Bay

CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS

The Twenty-Second International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE 2010) will be held at the Hotel Sofitel, Redwood City, San Francisco Bay, USA, July 1-3, 2010.

The conference aims at bringing together experts in software engineering and knowledge engineering to discuss on relevant results in either software engineering or knowledge engineering or both. Special emphasis will be put on the transference of methods between both domains.

We invite the experts on related research subjects to submit workshop proposals in conjunction with SEKE2010. These workshops provide the imminent opportunities for students, researchers, and industry practitioners to investigate, discover, and exchange new research ideas, problems, challenges, and solutions on specific emerging areas in Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering. The accepted papers for the conjunct workshops will be reviewed and published in the Proceeding of SEKE2010 conference.

We encourage the interested workshop organizers to send us half-day (or one-day) workshop proposals in the scope of SEKE2010 or related emerging subjects. Some possible areas (but not limited to) are listed as follows: The important dates for workshops in SEKE2010 are listed below:
November 1, 2010: Preliminary Workshop Proposal submission due
November 15, 2010: Feedback provided to the workshop proposers
November 30, 2010: Final workshop proposal submission due
March 15, 2010: Workshop paper submission due
April, 15, 2010: Workshop paper notification (electronic)

Note: All workshop programs will be the part of SEKE2010 conference program. Then, SEKE2010 program committee will work with workshop organizers to allocate workshop sessions within the constraints of space availability. Each workshop proposal must address the following topics: The Workshop Chair in SEKE2010 will work closely with the primary organizers of each workshop to ensure its quality review process and successful delivery. All workshop CFPs and links will be posted in SEKE2010 website. The conference system for SEKE2010 will be used to support the paper submission and review process for each workshop. Similar to SEKE conference papers, all workshop paper registrations will be managed by SEKE2010 conference.
