Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering

The theme of this international conference is the interplay between software engineering and knowledge engineering: How knowledge engineering methods can be applied to software en- gineering, and how software engineering methods can be applied to knowledge engineering? The technical sessions cover the following topics: software engineering methods and practices, formal specification and transformation techniques, rapid prototyping, software reuse, software process models, design and evaluation of CASE tools, knowledge engineering methods and practices, knowledge representation and artificial intelligence applications. CASE tools presentations providing an in-depth demonstration of innovative software tools will be conducted as part of the technical program.
