Professor Rosalind W. Picard (June 27, 2013)
Professor Rosalind W. Picard, Sc.D. is founder and director of the
Affective Computing research group at the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT) Media Lab. She is also co-founder of Affectiva, Inc.,
delivering technology to help measure and communicate emotion.
Professor Shi-Kuo Chang is founder and steering committee chair of the international
conference series on Software Engineering and Knowledge
Engineering (www.ksi.edu/seke/seke13.html in its twenty fifth year), and founder and editor-in-chief of the
Internation Journal of Software Engineering and
Knowledge Engineering (www.editorialmanager.com/ijseke/ in its twenth third volume).
He is professor of computer science of the University
of Pittsburgh (www.cs.pitt.edu), and founder and research director of
Knowledge Systems Institute, a private, non-profit graduate school of computer
and management (www.ksi.edu).
Professor Taghi M. Khoshgoftaar (June 29, 2013)
Taghi M. Khoshgoftaar is a professor of the Department of Computer and Electrical
Engineering and Computer Science, Florida Atlantic University and the Director of the Empirical
Software Engineering Laboratory and Data Mining and Machine Learning Laboratory. His
research interests are in software engineering, software metrics, software reliability
and quality engineering, computational intelligence, computer performance evaluation,
data mining, machine learning, and statistical modeling. He has published
more than 400 refereed papers in these areas.
